RoNetco Supermarkets honor ShopRite staffers at Perona Farms
ANDOVER — Perona Farms was the site of a celebration on Nov. 5 as 170 ShopRite associates were honored by RoNetco Supermarkets at the Annual Awards Recognition Breakfast. The celebration marked five years through 45 years of service by RoNetco ShopRite associates. Representing virtually every department in the stores, including associates from ShopRite Wines and Spirits and RoNetco’s Corporate Headquarters, associates were recognized for their dedication and many years of outstanding service to ShopRite customers. Each celebrant received a gold pin and those celebrating anniversaries from 10 to 45 years (in five-year increments) also received a commemorative gift.
Fifteen associates were inducted into the Quarter Century Club bringing the total to 247; twelve were honored for 30 years of service; and single recipients were honored for 40 and 45-year milestones.
“We are delighted to honor members of the RoNetco ShopRite family for their hard work and dedication. Their commitment to our organization to teach and train others for the benefit and future development of the organization is what helps us maintain our vibrant associate base," says Dominick J. Romano, vice president and C.O.O. "We believe in continuing education evidenced by the structured training program for new hires, the summer internship for college students and the leaders in training program for college graduates. Providing the necessary training to enhance individual contributions to the operation also improves associate potential which leads to improved associate performance. To challenge yourself is one of ShopRite’s Core values. Be the best you can be; after all, we’re all in this together. ShopRite’s purpose is to care deeply about people, helping them to eat well and be happy, and that applies to associates and customers alike."
