Five boy scouts from Pack 177 Den 5 and their dads went kayaking on the Wallkill River and were led by guides Cheryl and Kevin, volunteers with the US Fish and Wildlife. The group enjoyed a close up of a bald eagle flying overhead as well as other wildlife, including Eastern Painted Turtles. The group had a lunch on the banks of the river before heading back to Bassett's Bridge kayak launch.
