Sussex County Sheriff Michael Strada joined Shannon Percey’s first-graders at Ogdensburg Elementary School to read “You Are Enough,” a book about inclusion, on Read Across America Day.
He also talked with the students about being different is what makes us special.
The National Education Association’s nationwide reading celebration takes place annually on March 2, birthday of Dr. Seuss.
