Wallkill Valley FBLA members attend leadership conference
Hamburg. Six members of the Wallkill Valley Regional High School Future Business Leaders of America attended the Fall Leadership Conference at Kean University, where they attended workshops and participated in the March of Dimes for Babies.
Six members of the Wallkill Valley Regional High School chapter of Future Business Leaders of America attended the New Jersey FBLA-PBL Fall Leadership Conference at Kean University in Union on Oct. 28.
President Riley Cunniffe, Vice President John Spadora, Membership Vice President Ricky Limon, Community Service Co-Vice President Danielle Fetzner, and members Annalisa Caldera and Katie Vanderwiele represented the chapter.
Spadora also serves as the NJFBLA Northern Region Vice President; he and the State Officer Team focused on the state theme, “New Jersey FBLA-PBL Operation: Excellence.”
The keynote speaker was Steven Fastook, Senior Vice President of Technical and Commercial Operations at CNBC and responsible for the worldwide operations of the network.
Various workshops focused on developing leadership skills. Members had the opportunity to network with New Jersey FBLA members from various high schools. Wallkill Valley members participated in the March of Dimes Basket for Babies, which was designed by Riley Cunniffe.
