New CASA appointment

SUSSEX — CASA of Morris and Sussex Counties, Inc., which provides advocacy services to abused, neglected and abandoned children, has named Lisa Barsky Firkser as its new executive director. Barsky Firkser’s career has been providing services for children with special needs. She directed programs in the Saint Barnabas Health Care System for almost 20 years and holds a doctorate degree in rehabilitation from New York University. She succeeds Barbara Ward, who served as CASA’s executive director for over 14 years.
