Praying at the flagpole

Students and staff at Sussex Christian School gathered around the school’s flagpole on Sept. 23, for the annual See You at the Pole Prayer Service, a student-led event in which students around the nation meet at their school’s flagpole on the fourth Wednesday of every September to pray for their school, students, staff, government and nation. At Sussex Christian School, the eighth-graders lead the prayers for this program.
