Scouts will hold food drive

Hardyston — Girl Scout Troop 609 of the Wallkill Valley Service Unit will collect non-perishable items during the Hardyston Day festivities, on June 13. The Scouts are asking for items such as dry pasta, dry cereal, canned vegetables, canned soups, and canned meats. They will have a booth set up to collect items. There will also be a receptacle to collect loose change and bills. The troop is working toward its Girl Scouts Bronze Award.
