ShopRite holds blood drives

ShopRite of Franklin was busy with donors at the kick-off of the semi-annual Blood Drive to Save Lives event. The summer and winter months are when blood supplies are dangerously low and the need is most critical. Associates and patrons participated in this event, which is part of RoNetco’s Partners in Caring For Our Neighbors’ Families, Homes and Communities business philosophy. Here, Denise Lewis (center) and Denise Szostak (right) wait their turn to donate while Nancy Schmidt (left) finishes with her contribution. The next blood drive in Sussex County will be held on Monday, Feb. 2 at the ShopRite of Newton (Route 206 North) from 10 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. No appointment is necessary.
