Friday the 13th brings good luck to Carr family

Too often golf is thought to be too difficult a sport for friends and family to participate in and win a golf tournament. The Carr, Bonsor, and Manning Team not only proved that to be untrue but that Friday the 13th can be a lucky day.
Team Carr not only competed in the 9nDine 9-hole golf tournament at Black Bear Golf Club on Friday, Sept. 13, but they walked away with the winning prize based on a score of 2 over par 38.
The vent was played in a 4-golfer team scramble in which each golfer hit their shot and then played the best shot through completion of the hole and the completion of the 9-hole event. The team with the lowest score was the winner.
