Sussex County Technical School defeated Wallkill Valley Regional High School in varsity football on Friday, Oct. 4. The final score was 47-0.
The contest also included a tribute to the memory of the late Tommy Bock, who passed away at the age of 15 in 2017. He played football for Sussex Tech and wrestled for Wallkill Valley. At the conclusion of the game, both teams knelt at midfield in his memory. The Tommy Bock Spirit Award was presented to Sussex Tech player Braydon Holt and Wallkill Valley player Jake Vanderwiele.
Sussex Tech Mustangs 4-1. Wallkill Valley Rangers 3-2.
