Third-grade gymnastics champs in the spotlight

DVE-TV invited to their morning show Meadow Weber and Makayla Colon from Mrs. Kudrich’s third-grade class at Delaware Valley Elementary School.
Ruby Bailor interviewed the girls, who compete for Pike Gymnastics Academy. Meadow practices four times a week, and Makayla practices three times per week. Meadow competes at the fourth level and Makayla at the second.
In Long Island, N.Y., in May, they competed in the vault, bars, beam, and floor events.
What do they love about gymnastics?
Both said they loved the exercise and working with friends. They would tell other kids to do gymnastics because it is fun, and you use teamwork.
