SPARTA — Vernon Township High School defeated Sussex County Technical School in varsity girls soccer on Friday, Sept. 21. The final score was 4-0.
Catherine McCabe scored two goals for Vernon (6-2-0). Kathleen Smaldone and Eleni Polizos scored one goal apiece. Madeline Labance contributed one assist.
The win represents Vernon's fourth shutout of the season and its second in the last three games.
Sussex Tech fell to 2-2-2.
