Wallkill Valley defeats Hopatcong, 27-7
Hamburg. The Rangers halted a 5-game losing with their victory, fueled by 244 and three touchdowns from running back Ben Mizeski.





Ben Mizeski ran for 244 yards and three touchdowns, leading the Wallkill Rangers to a 27-7 win over Hopatcong on Saturday, Nov. 2.
Mizeski gave his team a 13-6 halftime lead by catching a 40-yard touchdown pass from quarterback Antonio Ciasullo, who shared quarterback time with teammate Tommy Testino.
Romeo Cuevas scored one rushing touchdown. Defensive lineman Kevin Armstrong made 5 sacks and linebacker Cole Weekley had 1 sack.
The Rangers (4-5) started the season with a 3-0 record, but the win streak was halted in a brutal 17-0 loss in to Parsippany in September. The Panthers lost several players to injury, including their starting quarterback to injuries, in that game
The Hopatcong Chiefs (2-7) lit up the scoreboard first when receiver Luis Palmer caught a 42-yard touchdown pass from quarterback Francesco Mastroeni.
