Vernon students register to vote in school elections

Vernon Township High School students who’ve turned 18 and wanted to register to vote took advantage of Dick Wetzel’s annual voter registration drive during lunch periods at the high school. Jess Burdzy, left, and Alana Cooper are registering to vote so they can take part in the budget vote and school board elections next month. Wetzel, at left, is supervisor of the VTHS Social Studies department.
