I write this as my opinion as a Hardyston taxpayer and not as a Board of Education member. This November, we will elect our neighbors to the Board of Education. They serve the township for no compensation and donate their time and skills for the betterment of the community.
I thank them all for their service. However, there must be a time to say “no thanks” when they are ineffective.
This is the time.
Under the current BOE leadership, the state test scores have repeatedly dropped, the great school rating (Zillow and Realtor.com) was lowered, and tax money became a slush fund for nonacademic projects.
The Kids First team has a long-standing commitment to parental rights, transparency, and accountability and fiscal responsibility. Donna Carey (incumbent) and Robin Marotta of this year’s Kids First team are seeking to win their bid for election.
If elected, the Kids First team will be the majority vote for these traditional family values in our Hardyston Township schools. They will stop unnecessary spending, reverse poor academic performance and reduce the high teacher turnover rate at the elementary school.
Please vote for Donna Carey and Robin Marotta.
