Wallkill Valley art students honored

The work of Wallkill Valley Regional High School students was featured in the Mount Olive High School Invitational Art Show on Tuesday, March 18.
Amanda Barone, Riley Simon, Nicolette Rock, Sam Kunze, Natalia Weaver, Caleb DelGuidice, Liam Brown, Jazlynn Villegas and Ray Mata had pieces chosen for the exhibition.
Villegas was awarded third place in the Craft category.
Moore College of Art and Design presented scholarships of up to $75,000 a year to three Wallkill Valley students: Rock, Barone and Weaver.
